The larger is Gili Trawangan can be reached in 30 minutes via boat. There are fasts boats from Bali which you can take too. The way back is from Lombok, where you stop at Teluk Nare. A kilometer away is the the 2 km long Gili Meno. Gili Meno being the smallest of the 3 islands offers the most peaceful enjoyment. You can choose to take a 2 hour walk along the beach and it is a great island for those who likes adventures as well as honeymooners. Grilled fish.

Nusa Penida

Being one of the largest of the coast of Bali, Nusa Penida is also the unofficial bird sanctuary where you can find many interesting bird species such as the Leucopsar rothschildi. Getting there can be by public boats from Kusamba, Padang Bai or from Sanur. The ferry cost about 16000 Rp but if you choose to take a speed boat with 19 other people, it will be about 40000 Rp. The most practical way to get around there is using a motorcycle.
